I want a new mount!!!!

From time to time I have this strange urge to change things, the other day was my spec, changed and currently testing a unholy spec, but today I want a new mount! Getting tired of my old drake... And he is also tired of me... Maybe I'm getting fat... Maybe...

So whats required to have a new mount? Achievements!!! How does it work? Picture this: 25 raiders go kill a boss, when they start the fight they do strange things like kissing a boss, not getting bites, or not killing ads... After doing a all sort of crazy things you tell everyone you are /flex /awesome /crazy and the old god blizz will give you a new mount.

There are many kinds of this challenges in ICC. I will talk about some of them...

Full House – Lady Deathwhisper

This is called Full house referring to poker. 3 of a kind and 2 of a kind in the same hand, 3 fanatics and 2 adherents. I'm a imba poker player. ;)

We need to defeat Lady Deathwhisper with at least five different types of Cultists active at the time of her demise in 25-player mode.

We must kill the boss making sure that we have 5 adds alive. The add must up are:

- Cult Fanatic, Deformed Fanatic, Reanimated Fanatic

- Cult Adherent, Reanimated Adherent

Strategy

Don’t kill the marked ads. Don’t aoe. Kill the unmarked ads. Only drop the barrier when tanked assigned to ads gives ok!

Flu Shot Shortage - Festergut

This one is cooooool. You just need to avoid having more that two stacks of the inoculation given by the spores.

Strategy

First spore goes out of the group. The second and third spore is done in a normal way, except the one marked by the first spore moves way so he doesn't have more than 2 stacks. Aura mastery and stuff in the Pungent Blight...

Dances with Oozes - Rotface

Rotface is our Kevin Costner and we need to learn the dance. Defeat Rotface without a Big Ooze casting Unstable Ooze Explosion in 25-player mode...

Strategy

3 tanks, 1 on the boss, two kite big oozes, mellee give tanks the small oozes, ranged are spread and they keep their small oozes. Kill kill kill!!!!

Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion... - Professor Putricide

This one is fun. Defeat Professor Putricide without using Regurgitated Ooze on the Abomination in 25-player mode. That means..., no slow on the damn oozes...

Silence at last

Yes, its true, no more strange whispers from the dead lady. We finally made her see that our sharp blades and our powerfull casts are stronger than any annoying whisper. Let me tell you in detail what happend that night.

21:30 - Arrived at the guild center and pickup the fight plan for the night;

21:31 - Went for the wc for a deap analisys of the plan;

22:45 - After a some strategic thinking decided to pick up my gear, food, flasks, pots and gold for the repairs;

23:00 - Arrived at ICC, door was wide open. Tirion Fordring was there. Talked with him a bit, noticed same problems with is Ret spec... I hope he changes that unused mass ress talent like I told him to do...

23:05 - Invited Tirion to join us in the fight but he said no... Maybe he was pissed with my advice...

23:15 - Took the transporter but arrived in a strange place... A place full of lights... A place with a big window and a blueish huge marble outside... This place looks like a secret area of ICC... I guess... Tryed to heartstone out but it didn't work. Finally started to hear some faint voices down the corridor: "What have you done Scotty!!! I said beam Spock aboard, not him!", "Jim, I'm doing me best! There was a quantic interferance in the sub sonic amplifiers! I'll transport him back...";

23:20 - WoW... That was strange... I was back in the room entrance... Really have to stop drinking... Started to feal the whispers in my head again... "You have found your way here, because you are among the few gifted with true vision in a world cursed with blindness." I closed my eyes and keeped my cool...

23:45 - After some delay, turbulence in the flight path I'm sure, the team was fully assembled and ready to kick ass;

23:50 - Without notice Rackham was teleported out. A strange message appered in the thin air: "Pay pay pay!!! Pay now!!!!"... I've heard about this before. Its a old God called bliz. He is a bad ass;

23:51 - It was a joke from the old God... Rackham is back again :) This God is funny as hell :D A new message appered "Sorry ;)"...

00:07 - "Ghosts!!! Move!! Run!!! MC now!!! Focus!!! Ghosts are up! Move!!! MCs now!!! No explosions plz!!! Mooooove!!!! Focus guy!!!";

00:19 - We could feel improvements every new try;

00:37 - "Run!!! Move!!! Focus!!!! Mind control!!! Run!!!! Ghosts!!! Move guys!!!! MC!!! Ghost are up!!! Moooooooove!!!!";
01:02 - We managed to nearly kill her. She was almost dead when in a final dying breath she enraged and... we died...

01:15 - Lady Deathwhisper asked for a break to go to the bathroom. As a true lady she is, she asked Sindy to go with her... I think she feels, for the first time, she is no longer safe; 

01:30 - We started the fight again. I'm sure I can see a lipstick and some new colors on her face. Could that be a sign?;

01:48 - "Focus!!! Ghosts now!!! Run!!!! Move!!!! MC plz!!! Don't kill the MCs!!! Ress plz!!! My ress is on CD... Mine is on DVD ;)"

02:04 - After a night of great progression we aimed for more! We aimed for the first kill!!! After 9 minutes of pure concentration, we did it. She was seconds away from the enrage but we nailed her to the ground. Her final whisper was: "All part of the masters plan! Your end is... inevitable!"... I think she had a crush on Eli... Honest...

02:30 - End of the raid, a fun night, a great achievment.

And that was it..., the true sequence of events of that night. Forgot to tell you that I went back for Tirion to check his spec but he already left the place... Slacker...

22 is the number!!!

I was hanging around in the local tavern..., minding my own business when someone shouted! "Lets go nail Halion! Who wants to signup!!! Great loot, little effort!!!". 

I took same time to measure my options:

 - Stay in the tavern and get drunk;

 - Stay in the tavern get drunk and go kill something;

 - Get going and kill something.

I finally decided to signup. When I joined the party only 22 showed up (so they told me), so no slacking for us this time. But when I arrived at Ruby Sanctrum and after taking a good look to the raiders I'm sure I counted 36 braves... Maybe I was a little drunk...

We entered the Ruby domain and after killing the dragon minions we faced Halion with a smile and a sharp blade. Even with 22, so they told me, the dragon was down quickly and efficiently. A good team effort and was lots of fun.

But the best part was before the raid :)

Someone prepares some nice food, usually a fish feast, we get also some buffs, and flasks (I was still drunk...). Sometimes theres a cozy fire to get warm and someone signs songs (I was drunk really), and say strange things like: "It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum... and I'm all outta gum." Its fun...., even tho I don't know what a bubble gum is... Must be some kind of a gnome...

After killing Halion I said (was still drunk): "Halion was no challenge for us! Lets go kill Lich King himself!". Don't know why but they did followed (maybe because I had some booze with me).

Again we knocked at LK door to be granted access to his mighty citadel! Nobody answered... After 5 times knocking on the door, and Sethis getting ready to lock-pick, he finally showed up. He apologized, and gave a lame excuse... "Professor Putricide asked me to give a walk with Precious and Stinky..." We didn't actually believed him... "He is afraid!!!" Cylaria said. Everyone agreed.

In combat LK did managed to evade us a couple of times, but after a while we showed him who was really in charge! 48 of us killed him in style, managing the Val'kyrs, the defiles and all the spirits LK used against us. We had with us some new raiders, that never killed him before and they looked really happy went we killed him: Congrats to the 4 Addams, the 3 Coppernobs and the 5 Summerwinds. A fun fun night... 

After the kill, they told me we went back to the tavern to celabrate and got some more beer to drink... I frankly don't remember a thing... I believe I went straight to bed... Don't know why people smile at me when I cross with them in the street tho... Go figures...

I don't like the lady

Hello readers of this mighty jornal (at this moment I think its only one reader..., and writer tbh...)!

Yesterday me and 24 braves started a new battle against Lich King minions. We knocked at Icecrown Citadel door, and the King himself opened it for us :) Thats what I call premium service.

After Lord "Stick Around" "Give me your axe" "Bonestorm" guy was dead we went to Lady Death Whisper room.

I really don't like her... She is not really my type you know... First of all she is ugly as hell, second is her voice... Even if she was a *SEX BOMB* someone talking in that way into my hear would make me.... Creep out of there... One more reason to see her killed I guess.

We done this fight in heroic mode, that is, we talk to boss before the fight and we say we are not happy with the boss performance. He/she gets mad and become more difficult.... Strange thing is when they die they drop better loot... Somethings are still a mystery to me...

Anyway, she was mad with us, and killed us several times... Some... 8 times? 

So..., what went wrong you might ask. Some things, but the most important ones are the mind controls and the Vengeful Shades.

The MCs are a pain the hard mode fight and they need to be handled quickly and efficiently, otherwise two things can occur: someone is killed by a MC or a MC is killed by splash damage. Quick reaction time is everything here.

And the other one are my favorite, the Vengeful Shades... They are purple, they are sneaky, they explode, they are raid wipers... They don't like mellee dps... I hate them!!! First of all I can't kill them, and when they spawn just next to me its hard to avoid them... What  more can I say about them? RUN!!!! I just wish I had some goggles to better see them... I used to have ones, they were awesome, AVR goggles, but they are broken now...

But we are getting better in this fight, we need to do it more often and learn to react more quickly.

After some time, it was time to talk to the lady and convince her to take some tranquilizing pills, to calm her down. After we done that she was easy to kill.

We ended the night in the Battle "loot" ship with a nice horde kill.
